ATC to Rock the Rockies at Audio Fest

Rutherford Exhibit Room 9002,  Prism Sound Room 9000, Basil Audio Room 1130

Las Vegas, NV (October 5, 2017) – Lone Mountain Audio, the importer of ATC Loudspeakers Consumer Hi Fi products from England, and its US sales representative Rutherford Audio to demonstrate its full line of ATC’s latest loudspeakers and electronics products at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest.

Audio Fest will be held at The Denver Marriott, Denver, Colorado on October 6-8, 2017. ATC Loudspeakers will be exhibiting its Hi-Fi Series products in exhibit room 9002 (Rutherford Audio) and in two additional sound rooms: Prism Sound – exhibit room 9000, showing its SCM40A active loudspeakers and Basil Audio – exhibit room 1130, showing its SCM40 passive loudspeakers.

The winner of a 2017 Golden Ear Award (The Absolute Sound), the ATC SCM19A actives will be showcased alongside the SCM7’s bookshelf, SCM11’s and grand SCM50A (active) floor standing loudspeakers.  The SCM7’s with matching stands and P2 amplifier will be set up to demonstrate a moderate sized and priced system.

The award-winning SCM19A’s are packed with advanced sound technology features including its braced, sealed and curved multi-layer laminated cabinet, which is precision-finished in cherry or black ash real-wood veneer, that provides a rigid and optimally damped environment for the Company’s acclaimed SH25-76 soft dome tweeter and 150mm Super-Linear mid/bass driver. Drive units are individually powered by an upgraded bi-amp pack (also proprietary), comprising ATC’s discrete MOSFET Class A/B modules, delivering 32W of continuous power to the HF section and 150W to the bass. This is a powerful home loudspeaker with stunning aesthetics.

The ATC SCM50 ASL (active) are designed to perform at their best in home with the finest quality hi-fi equipment. The monitors’ ability to reproduce music and speech with phenomenal accuracy, transparency and dynamics lies mainly in the SM75-150S soft dome midrange driver. Each drive unit in the active model has its own dedicated and individually matched MOS-FET amplifier, while the 234mm/9″ bass driver incorporates ATC’s unique Super Linear Magnet technology. The active crossover network consists of a wide bandwidth, electronically balanced input stage with high common mode rejection and very low distortion. Like the mid and bass drivers, all electronics are designed and manufactured in-house to create a no-compromise active system.
